What's the Latest With the Recalls?

Thought 2021 would be a slow election year? No such thing in San Francisco!

2021 is shaping up to be the Year of the Recall election(s) here, with a gubernatorial recall expected this fall, signatures being gathered for not one but two different District Attorney (Chesa Boudin) recalls - and a recall of three members of the school board: Board President Gabriela Lopez, Vice President Faauuga Moliga, and Commissioner Alison Collins.

But not all recalls are created equal.

What are recalls exactly? How do they work? Why are they happening, who is supporting them, and when will we actually vote?

Join us Monday, June 14th at 6 PM on Zoom as we navigate this tricky path with political veteran and consultant Jim Ross, who will tell us everything we need to know and answer whatever questions you might have about the process.

This event is free (and counts towards the membership voting requirement)! We look forward to seeing you there!

Jim Ross is a nationally recognized expert in communications, political strategy and public affairs with more than twenty years of campaign management, communications and public affairs experience.
